These Hinged Pad Eyes are made from Type 316 Stainless Steel in the USA. Unlike rigid pad eyes, these hinged pad eyes fold flat and stay out of the way when not in use. They come in five different sizes and are load rated. The fractional size refers to the diameter of the “D” ring and the fastener holes. For example: a 1/4” Hinged Pad Eye will have a 1/4” diameter “D” ring and the fasteners holes will have clearance for 1/4” fasteners.

All the Hinged Pad Eyes come with a backing plate except the 3/16" size. The Safe Working Loads are rated as follows:
3/16" Hinged Pad Eye up to 400 lbs. Safe Working Load
1/4" Hinged Pad Eye up to 1,000 lbs. Safe Working Load
5/16" Hinged Pad Eye up to 1,500 lbs. Safe Working Load
3/8" Hinged Pad Eye up to 2,500 lbs. Safe Working Load
1/2" Hinged Pad Eye up to 3,500 lbs. Safe Working Load
Do not exceed the Safe Working Loads listed.
